Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Home Arc handles information in the Home Arc mobile app, including locally stored project content, optional account authentication, sharing features, and support contact information.

Information Stored Locally

Home Arc stores project content locally on your device. This may include project names, imported floor-plan images or rendered PDFs, project thumbnails, floor-plan settings, furniture and layout information, locally generated exports, and temporary files or cache data created while using the app.

Home Arc does not currently upload or sync project content to Home Arc servers. If you delete your account, local project content remains on the device unless you separately delete projects, clear app data, or remove the app.

Account and Authentication Information

Account creation is optional. If you choose to create or use an account, email addresses and authentication information are processed using Supabase. The Home Arc privacy manifest declares linked email address and linked user ID data for app functionality, with tracking false.

Sign in with Apple may provide an Apple identity identifier and an email address, including an Apple private-relay email address if you choose that option. Home Arc requests your email address only when using Apple sign-in.

Home Arc does not receive or store plaintext passwords. Authentication sessions may be stored locally on your device to keep you signed in.

Sharing and External Services

You may choose to send information outside Home Arc by exporting or sharing project images through the iOS share sheet, copying content to the clipboard, opening third-party AI tools, or opening retailer websites using item-related search terms.

Home Arc may provide links to third-party retailer websites. Home Arc is not affiliated with or endorsed by these retailers, and their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Information you send to another app, AI tool, website, retailer, or other third-party service is governed by that service's privacy practices. Home Arc does not control what external apps or websites retain.

Data Retention

Local project data remains on your device until you delete projects, clear app data, or remove the app. Temporary export and cache data may remain locally until removed by the app or operating system.

Supabase authentication information remains while your account exists and is subject to Supabase's operational and legally required records. Avoid relying on exact retention periods for provider-operated account records.

Account Deletion

You can initiate permanent Home Arc account deletion inside the Account screen. Account deletion removes the remote Home Arc/Supabase account and sign-in information.

Local projects remain on your device after account deletion. If you also want local project data removed, delete your local projects, clear app data, or remove the app from the device.

Tracking and Advertising

The Home Arc mobile app does not include an advertising SDK or analytics SDK. Home Arc does not use cross-app tracking and does not sell personal data.

Security

Home Arc uses reasonable safeguards for account authentication and local app data. However, no system or device storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes and Contact

Home Arc may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
